MARK SYSTEMS Named One of 50 Hottest Companies for 2009Mount Holly, NJ., June 29, 2009 - Today MARK SYSTEMS was named as one of the country's 50 Hottest Companies in residential construction technology by Constructech magazine. The Constructech 50 Hottest for 2009 is a listing of the most influential construction technology providers with a strong and ongoing market presence as determined by the editors of Constructech magazine with assistance from its editorial advisory board. Published in the first annual Constructech
IT Playbook, this directory is a new variation on the Hottest Companies
awards that Constructech has presented in the past. While in previous
years companies were judged based on the success and growth found solely
in the past year, winners of the Constructech 50 Hottest are evaluated
on a continued and dominant presence in the marketplace. "Coupled with garnering our Top Product Award designation 2 years in a row, this commendation further recognizes the continuing value that MARK SYSTEMS software brings to residential builders and developers" said Mark Finelli, President of MARK SYSTEMS. "Our committment to product development and our exclusive focus on the home building industry has made MARK SYSTEMS' Integrated Homebuilder Management System the clear technology leader for homebuilders of any size", Finelli said. The Constructech editorial team considered various criteria when determining the 2009 winners from some 200 considered companies. Some of those criteria included having a strong product/service aimed at the construction industry, customer satisfaction and growth, as well as outreach and educational efforts for the communication industry. The Constructech 50 Hottest honors the hard work and dedication that these exceptional companies have shown in the construction space,” said Mike Carrozzo, chief editor of Constructech. “Though economic turmoil has been prominent and the construction market has seen struggles, this year’s winners have still found success and are taking part in the move toward improvement in the industry.” MARK SYSTEMS has found success during the residential construction slowdown by targeting savvy builders who are positioning themselves for growth as the new home market returns, according to Scott Duman, Vice President and CTO of MARK SYSTEMS. "Like our customers, we've taken advantage of the slower business pace to make dramatic investments in our product development", Duman said. "Our move to a Java platform, along with a complete re-write of our entire reporting package using Jasper reports, ensures our customers stay at the very peak of technology." Constructech magazine strives to provide our readers with the winning solutions and the necessary information that will improve business practices,” said Peggy Smedley, editorial director of Constructech. “This compilation of solution providers who make up the Constructech 50 Hottest companies, as well as the industry insight found throughout the Constructech IT Playbook, arms readers with the knowledge they need to make successful implementations now and into the future.” About Constructech Magazine As the only publication focused exclusively on the technology needs of the construction professional, Constructech magazine is the industry’s advocate for driving technology initiatives forward and bringing visionaries together. Focusing on both the commercial and residential sectors, Constructech takes the perspective of the construction professional in uncovering the true value of information technology tools, automated home technology options, and building control automation. |
